Ed McGaa
Ed McGaa ("Eagle Man") is an Oglala Sioux and a former Marine fighter pilot with 110 combat missions to his credit. He holds a law degree from the University of South Dakota.
Ed McGaa is the author of Red Cloud (Dillon Press, 1972), Rainbow Tribe (HarperCollins, 1992), and native Wisdom (Four Directions Publishing). (See his photo and a profile of him by Celinda Reynolds Kaelin in the April, 1977 issue of The Roundup, p. 40.)
Susan McGarry
Susan McGarry, Western writer, lived in Houston, Texas for many years. She was editor-in-chief of Southwest Art magazine for nearly 20 years.
She moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1999. And from that base she writes widely about the art world in the great Southwest. She is active in the New Mexico Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts. And she is a frequent contributor to American Cowboy magazine.

Frank McGrath
(Deceased)
Frank McGrath, stuntman and actor, was born in Mound City, Missouri on Feb. 2, 1903.
Frank McGrath appeared in such Western films as The Shakiest Gun in the West (1968), The War Wagon (1967), Gunfight in Abilene (1967), The Tin Star (1957), Ride Vaquero! (1953), She Wore a Yellow Ribbon (1949), Big Jack (1949), The Ox-Bow Incident (1943), Sundown Jim (1942), The Riders of the Purple Sage (1941), Robbers' Roost (1933), and The Rainbow Trail (1932).
However, most of us remember Frank McGrath for his TV role as crusty Charlie Wooster on Wagon Train. He also made guest appearances on The Big Valley and The Virginian.
Frank McGrath died of a heart attack in Hollywood, Ca., on May 13, 1967.
Myra Hargrave McIlvain
Myra Hargrave McIlvain is the author of Shadows on the Land (Eakin Press), as well as three regional Texas Auto Trails (all by University of Texas Press). Her articles have appeared in New Mexico Historical Review and in the Albuquerque Tribune.
John McIntire

John McIntire, actor, was born John Herrick McIntire on June 27, 1907 in Spokane, WA. John McIntire appeared in 91 movies over a 41-year period, from 1948 to 1989. He was a star on the popular "Wagon Train" TV series, as well as in "The Virginian" (1962) and "The Men From Shiloh" (1970).

John McIntire died from emphysema and cancer on Jan. 30, 1991 in Pasadena, CA.

Eva McKenzie
