Juanita Zachry
Juanita Zachry spent a good part of her life in the rural reas of Texas. She was a bookkeeper and deputy clerk in the County Clerk's office in Abilene, Texas. She is now retired.
Juanita Zachry attended a business college, then took courses in creative writing from the University of Oklahoma, from the Famous Writers School, and from Writer's Digest. Shas been writing Western material for over 25 years.
She has over 250 articles and stories to her credit, spanning such markets as historical, general interest, religious and scholarly journals. Her work has appeared in Early American Life, American History Illustrated, Arizona Highways, Texas Highways, Lady's Circle, Southwest Airlines, Westward, and The Cattleman. She served for two years as a contributing editor to National Doll World.
Juanita Zachry taught writing for five years in the Abilene Fine Arts program, and she has taught several years in the arts program of the Abilene Writers Guild. She has conducted writing workshops in such Texas towns as Abilene, Cisco, Snyder and Odessa.
Juanita Zachry is the author of History of the Cowboy's Christmas Ball in Anson City, 1885 (1984) and six other regional books.
Sally S. Zanjani
Sally S. Sanjani lives in Reno, NV. Her articles have appeared in such magazines as Nevada, and The Nevadan Today.
She and Guy Louis Roach are the co-authors of The Ignoble Conspiracy: Radicalism on Trial in Nevada (University of Nevada), a nonfiction book. And she is the author of The Unspiked Rail: Memoir of a Nevada Rebel (University of Nevada Press, 1981).
Catherine Zeta-Jones
Catherine Zeta-Jones, actress, was born Catherine Jones on Sept. 25, 1969 in Swansea, Wales, UK.
As a child, she studied acting, singing and dancing. She began acting, professionally, in a London production of 42nd Street when she was only seventeen. People Magazine chose her as one of 1998's "Most Beautiful People".
She and actor Michael Douglas had a child, then they were married on Nov. 18, 2000.
Catherine Zeta-Jone's only Western credit to date was her role as Elena in The Mask of Zorro (1998).
Norman Zollinger

Norman Zollinger, author, was a long-time resident of Albuquerque, NM. He owned a book store there for many years.He wrote both fiction and nonfiction books and articles. His nonfiction articles appeared in such publications as The New York Times.
His novels include Riders to Cibola (1978; won a Spur Award from WWA), Corey Lane (1983) and Passage on the Talus.
